ADD YOUR OWN NOTES

Teachers and students can now add their own notes to the Interactive Textbook. Click on the note icon in the navigation bar as shown above, type a title for your note and add your own reminders and hints.


PRINTABLE CHAPTER TESTS AND WORKSHEETS

Teachers have access to both PDF and Word versions of the chapter tests and worksheets and the accompanying answer sheets.

Digital tips #05 – Two ways to read a test report

Digital maths resources, powered by Cambridge HOTmaths, offer a range of reporting tools including a test report that provides two ways to analyse how your students are doing.

Option 1 – View Student results. 

Get a snapshot of your students’ score with correct answers represented by green bars and incorrect by red bars. Drill down to individual student answers with this option.

Option 2 – View Question results. 

See the percentage of correct and incorrect responses for each question and how many didn’t attempt it. This allows you to analyse what concepts need further revision.

 

Both report options can be downloaded and printed.

Digital tips #02 – Workspaces in Cambridge digital maths resources

Have you introduced your students to Workspaces?

Workspaces in Cambridge digital maths resources allow students to enter their working for all exercises directly into the Interactive Textbook. Answers and working can be typed, drawn or uploaded and saved along with their self-assessment for viewing by the teacher.

Teachers can view both the student exercise work and student self-assessment, allowing them to address any questions that were marked as difficult by students.

Digital tips #01 – How to print a copy of a test for homework or revision

Printing a copy of a test that you have created can be useful for setting as homework, revision or for use as a practice test in class.

Print or make a soft copy of a test:

  • Go to the Test icon on the dashboard
  • Check the box next to the test you would like to copy
  • Scroll to the bottom of the test bank and select view/print test
  • Chose to display in single column or two columns
  • The test will open in a pdf file which you can then save and email or print out for students
